Kraftin' Kimmie Danny

Hi there,

I was SO happy to get this stamp!  Finally an image I could use for both my father and my father-in-law!  Actually my father-in-law rides a motorbike, so it's PERFECT for him!

Both of their birthdays are this month, so I made two of this card.

This is Danny from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  I stamped him in Memento Tuxedo Black, on Xpress Blending paper, and coloured with Copics.

Jeans:  B99, B97, B95, B93
Jacket & Boots:  E79, E77, E74, E71
Bike:  R89, R59, R37
Bike:  C9, C7, C6, C5, C4, C3, C2, C1
Hair:  E49, E47, E57, E33
Skin:  E11, E00, E000, R11
Glasses:  C0, C1, C2
T-shirt:  C0, C1

I've mounted the image on Stampin' Up! Kraft cardstock, and used Bo Bunny Timepiece paper, as well as the coordinating elements (I LOVE this set!).

I've also created the card for the following challenges:

Have a great week!!

C.C. Designs Sugarplums Bride Emma

We had the pleasure of hosting a bridal shower at work for a colleague - what fun!  I LOVE all things wedding and baby.  I wish I'd been a professional party planner!

Of course, I had to make a shower card for Jackie - and here's what I came up with.

I bought this stamps especially for the occasion, because this little image is so sweet - she reminds me of Precious Moments, which I love, and seem so personal and romantic.

I've used my latest favourite paper series - Bo Bunny Gabrielle - with the coordinating elements and ribbons.  I LOVE these series with all of the matching components.  It makes colour matching a breeze!  I've used a labels Nestabilities set from Spellbinders and some Prima flowers to bring out the turquoise (my favourite colour - and what a great combo with peachy pink).

I stamped Emma on XPress Blend it paper with Memento tuxedo black and coloured her in with Copics (of course).  I used E50, and a little E40 & E41 in the shadows, for the dress and veil - always tricky to do a large area of white.

Happy Mother's Day!
